Four views - one file

Mimosa has four views managing the same content - your Mimosa file - from different angles. Each of them has its own selections to edit and view the data and when you switch to different task, the active view should be changed accordingly. Mimosa also contains common tools which can be accessed from all of these four views:

The menu selections of Edit and View vary according to the current view (Components view, Courses view, Weeks view, Timetables view), whereas other menu selections (File, Tools, Options, Window, Help) are same in all views.

You can alternatively click the Previous view or Next view or last four selections in Window menu, or use the shortcuts [Shift+Ctrl+F6] or [Ctrl+F6] to move to the view you want to work with. All views provide different angles to view and change the content of the same Mimosa file.

Views cannot be closed, but it is possible to resize, move or minimise them. Mimosa remembers the last used screen layout (plus colours and fonts) and applies it when Mimosa is invoked again.
