Upgrade Mimosa

This selection displays the instructions how to keep Mimosa updated. Updates are free and they are always compatible with your current Mimosa files and preferences. The latest version number and date is visible on top of our homepage. It is recommended to always use the latest version.

Scramble

    Confidential data

This selection allows you to encrypt confidential data (such as your credit card number) and to allow its secure delivery via email. The selection creates a text file scramble.txt of size over 4000 bytes and stores it in the same folder where you installed Mimosa, with your text encrypted into it. You can send this text file safe as an email attachment to Mimosa Software Ltd., where it is decrypted, read and destroyed.

    Current Mimosa File

Selecting this option scrambles all names in all courses and components in your current Mimosa file, by replacing the names with randomly selected characters. Be sure to save your original file on disk before performing this operation and save the resulting file with a different name, since you cannot undone this operation.

You can use the encrypted version when sending your Mimosa file to Mimosa Software Ltd. for testing purposes or to somebody else without disclosing the original course or component names, only the file structure. This operation can be repeated, and since the encrypting is based on random replacement of original characters, this file cannot be decrypted to its original version.
