Mimosa has four views which manages the same content - your Mimosa file - from different angles. Each view has its own functionality and when you switch to different task, the active view should be changed accordingly. Mimosa also contains modal windows, which can be opened and closed from any of these four views:

When you select the view, also the contents of the Edit menu and View menu change accordingly.
