In this selection you can change the appearance and size of the four main windows (Mimosa views), and select the active one. Most probably you will always keep he currently active window maximised and use the Tile or Cascade selections only in exceptional cases and when the available screen resolution is high in enough.

You cannot close any of the four views (Components, Courses, Weeks, Timetables), but you can minimise one or more of them (by clicking the minimise button on top right corner). Those views that are not minimised, are affected by the Cascade and Tile commands.

Cascade [Shift+F5]

Arranges open windows in an overlapping pattern so that the title bar of each window is visible.

Tile [Shift+F4]

Arranges visible windows side by side so that all windows are visible. The active window is positioned in the top left corner.

Arrange icons

Arranges minimised windows into row.

Minimise all

Minimises all windows into icons.

Restore all

Restores all minimised windows to their original size.

Refresh

Next view [Ctrl+F6]

Activates next view (Components -> Courses -> Weeks -> Timetables -> Components).

Previous view [Shift+Ctrl+F6]

Activates previous view (Components <- Courses <- Weeks <- Timetables <- Components).

1 Timetables

Activates Timetables view.

2 Weeks

3 Courses

4 Components

Note that you can change the views also by using the buttons on top of the screen - see Changing views in Mimosa.
