SUM is the total number of lectures of a course that have been allocated to weeks in Weeks view. SUM is always less than or equal to MAX, the total number of lectures, but greater than or equal to DONE, which is the total number of lectures that has been timetabled. For components, SUM is automatically calculated from the courses which are linked with that component.
When all planned lectures of a course or component have been allocated to weeks, SUM=MAX. If the maximum number of weeks equals 1, all planned lectures (MAX) are automatically allocated to this week, and in this case SUM automatically equals MAX.
