If you have any problems with any versions of Mimosa, either technical or conceptual follow the instructions on this page. Since we cannot always imagine what happens on your screen with your data, we strongly recommend that you help us to reconstruct your problem on our computer to be able to solve it.
We will solve your problem as soon as possible. If it requires making some changes to the application, the latest version will be copied to the download page immediately after it has been tested.
See also our Licence statement.
All Mimosa versions, including the commercial version are by default installed in separate folders and they create automatically the "\data" subfolder, containing Mimosa sample files. If you later on like to uninstall these applications, select "Uninstall" from the created Mimosa menu selection. All Mimosa versions store files, web reports and used settings in "[User name]\Documents\Mimosa" folder, which is automatically created when the application is invoked.
You can upgrade Mimosa similarly as you installed it for the first time. Installing this application updates your current Mimosa version to and keeps your settings and your license information intact.
If you want to keep your old Mimosa version, copy the file "mfw.exe" from your current installation folder to another location before installation. If you want to revert back to this old version after installation, then copy the file "mfw.exe" back to the installation folder. We recommend to use the latest version.
Mimosa files are always forward compatible from any previous version. If it is necessary to revert back to an older version of Mimosa, for the backward compatibility it is always safer to store the Mimosa file of the latest version in text format with File|File Export and open it in the older version with File|File Import.
Please note about upgrading that...
Mimosa suggests that it will be installed in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Mimosa in Windows folder system. You can change the folder according to your preferences. When you update Mimosa and you enter here another folder where you last installed Mimosa, your current settings and user rights are as before. Since installing Mimosa in folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Mimosa is often restricted by your Windows environment and your administrator rights, it is often more convenient to create a folder of your own (such as C:\Mimosa) and install Mimosa therein.
Mimosa uses curl.exe application to fetch the latest version from the Mimosa homepage,
and this application is also included in the installation package. The Copyright notice below is related to this application.
