The Options|Statistics menu selection opens a window which allows you to view statistics about your schedule file. There are five tabs that provide access to general event, resource, capacity, file and timetable statistics. The sixth tab allows you to select a resource and see summary statistics as a bar chart. On tabs where a Copy button is visible, you can copy content from the current page to the Clipboard and paste it to other applications.


This tab displays sums of all event periods and weekly bookings by event categories, booking types and weeks. Click Copy to copy the content of this tab to the Clipboard.


This tab displays sums of all resource periods and weekly bookings by resource categories, booking types and weeks. Click Copy to copy the content of this tab to the Clipboard.


This tab displays, with the help of percentage numbers and graphs, how much of Mimosa's capacity has been used so far. In most cases, the capacity of Mimosa is much larger than you are likely to need. The items listed in this view are:

  • Events and resources (Max=8191)
  • Scheduling information (Max approx. 300,000 timetables)
  • Event collections (Max>32,000)
  • Weeks (Max=255)
  • Time periods in a day (Max=30)
  • Manual rooms (Max>10,900)
  • ALLOCATED / PLANNED (percentage of planned periods that have been allocated to weeks)
  • SCHEDULED / ALLOCATED (percentage of allocated periods that have been scheduled)
  • Collections - event collections by their number of resources (LINKS)
  • resource links - resources by the number of the events they refer to (LINKS)


This tab contains information about the date, time and size of the current file, plus similar information of the corresponding backup file (.bak) and text file (.mxt), if they are generated. See the file selections at Options|Other.

  • Mimosa installation folder (target folder for updates)
  • Size of the current Mimosa file
  • Mimosa version number related to last file save
  • Date and time of last file save
  • Name of backup file .bak (if selected, see Options|Other)
  • Name of text file .mxt (if selected, see Options|Other)
  • Number of comment lines
  • Number of memo lines
  • Name of annotation file (if it exists)


In this page the number of timetables of events created and resources is displayed plus the total number of gaps counted from all appropriate resource timetables. Also some technical data concerning the compression ratio of timetables is displayed.

Event blocks

This list contains statistics about all event blocks lengths (1-30) in timetables.

Bookings blocks

This list contains statistics about all bookings blocks lengths (1-30) in timetables.


This tab represents the summary data for all scheduled resources. You can select the resource code from the list and view the following graphs:

  • periods allocated to a week
  • periods scheduled in timetables
  • number of bookings
  • gaps in timetables
